Robbie Terry-Washington

   Excerpts from a feature interview with the President’s Council

#PCBuysBlack: RTW Xxact After working many years in the accounting field, Robbie Terry-Washington decided to start her own business to assist businesses with their finances and tax. All too often our small businesses fail due to lack of resources and professional direction – RTW Xxact is here to help!  

Robbie consults with the SBA (Small Business Administration), Urban League, Chambers of Commerce in both Georgia and Atlanta, in addition to other community based organizations on various financial and tax issues regarding business and compliance.

Robbie has a strong background in corporate finance, but as a small business owner, she is very aware of the challenges that small businesses face. She is committed to sharing her financial knowledge with others and also teaches Financial Literacy Classes several times a year.

How did you get into this field? After working many years in the Accounting field, I decided to start my own business to assist businesses with their finances and tax. All too often our small businesses fail due to lack of resources and professional direction.

What is your favorite part about your job? Helping business remain viable, sustain and grow.

What is the most challenging part about your job? Demonstrating to the small business community the vital importance of keeping their business records which means they need a financial system and also staying up to date with all of their tax filings and payments.

Why did you decide to become a PCBC member? RTW is a catalyst for change and has partnered with PCBC as we have shared visions for the community we serve.

What challenges do you face as an African American business professional? Being an African American professional who deals for the most part with businesses financials and money, demonstrating that we are just as capable or more capable to handle our customers business needs.


What PC Buys Black business to business/consumer special are you offering members?
What are your goals for your business and how do you see PC being part of that process? The PC and RTW are strategic partners. RTW is a part of the PC’s AYB platform which as shown tangible results. RTW’s plan is to expand our strategic partnership as we continue to support the small business community.

RTW has and will continue to support our base by participating in speaking events, webinars, etc and vetting referred clients to support and provide guidance and direction so that these businesses are equipped for success.
