Mission Statement
RTW Academy aims to assist citizens and communities by developing programs and providing an educational platform for the guiding of students, restored citizens and current aspiring entrepreneurs to financial independence. Creating attainable, maintainable, and sustainable businesses by equipping participants with all-around financial literacy and financial stewardship.

RTW Academy’s Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Program
- Our program is strategically established based on providing basic business acumen to small businesses, students, and ex-offenders in efforts to help them sustain, maintain, and grow in the business world.
- We ensure that small businesses will be complicit with all government regulations. In addition, it will provide turnkey solutions to ex-offenders looking to become productive citizens and future entrepreneurs.
- RTW Academy will be a beacon to many who will otherwise be disenfranchised.

VITA Program in partnership with the IRS
The IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free basic tax return preparation to qualified individuals.
The VITA program has operated for over 50 years. VITA sites offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns, including:
- People who generally make $60,000 or less
- Persons with disabilities; and
- Limited English-speaking taxpayers
In addition to VITA, the TCE program offers free tax help, particularly for those who are 60 years of age and older, specializing in questions about pensions and retirement-related issues unique to seniors
