As the Coronavirus- COVID-19 continues to greatly impact our communities the health and safety of our clients and employees is our top priority. RTW understands the stressors the virus is causing and is committed to doing our part in protecting both, our clients and employees. As result of the pandemic, we have instructed our staff to work from home until further advised. We value their health and yours. In fact, RTW already has alternative processes in place to assist you with tax filings and other financial services during this event, with little or no social interaction required.
Although our offices will not be open for regular hours, we will continue to provide our clients with uninterrupted service. RTW will utilize our technical resources to conduct business remotely. Tax Filing Deadlines below:
Business Tax Returns (Partnerships and S Corporations) are 3/16/20 and due by 9/15/20 on extension. If necessary, call now to get an extension filed. (855) 205-8486
Individuals, Corporations and Schedule C’s (single member LLC’s) are all due by 4/15/20 and 10/15/20 on extension.
Congress has noted that it may extend the Normal due date of 4/15/20 for those directly impacted by COVID-19 but has not yet provided any dates. Any related interest and penalty will be abated. Some states like CA, MD, PA have extended their due dates.
Please also note that most states are only open for online services. See below for GA and OH.
Georgia: Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, the DOR is encouraging all taxpayers to conduct their business with the DOR through online services. The DOR offers a number of motor vehicle and tax related services online, without the need of in-person interactions.
Ohio: Effective immediately, the Ohio Department of Taxation has closed its walk-in center due to Coronavirus concerns.
